The 19th, Oct. 28th, 2023
But first…watch @frankeydg bogey the 2nd hole at East Potomac but nonetheless, a solid effort. You can’t par them all 🤣
@frankeydg Took my first group golf lesson in October 2021… just having fun getting acquainted with the game! #golf #playdcgolf #par4 #golftiktok #bogeygolf
This course in Maryland has been named the best golf course in the tristate area
Black Rock Golf Course in Hagerstown, MD, has been awarded the title of "Best Golf Course" in the Best of the Tristate Awards presented by Herald Mail Media.
The awards, which encompass various categories, involve public voting to recognize the best local businesses, places, and organizations in the Tristate region, including West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
The 18 hole course has a total yardage of 6,757 (3,281 on the front 9). The 14th hole par 5 is the longest on the course at 539 from the blues. Check it out in the video below. Click here for more course details.
To play a full 18 on the weekend it will cost you $57 ($36 if you walk it) while on weekdays it will cost you $51. Here is a full breakdown of course fees.
Black Rock Golf Course secured the first-place position in the "Best Golf Course" category under the Sports and Fitness section, surpassing competitors such as Fountain Head Country Club and Greencastle Golf Club. Ironically, Black Rock Golf Course was not listed in Golf Digest’s recent rankings of the best golf courses in Maryland.
It’s a bit of a drive to get there from the DMV but definitely seems worth it. Check out these guys take down a hole 2, par 3, at Black Rock…
