This 27-Hole Golf Course to re-open in 2024 in Loudoun County

Now rebranded as Beacon Hill Golf Club, the once-private establishment faced financial challenges that led to its closure in 2006. Subsequently, the site fell into disrepair, remaining neglected and overgrown, desperately requiring rejuvenation.

Resort Development Partners has completed the acquisition of Beacon Hill Golf Club in Loudoun County. Previously known as the Club of Virginia and inaugurated in 2001 near Leesburg, this course was originally crafted by the renowned Hall of Fame golfer Johnny Miller.

In collaboration with the Beacon Hill Community Association, Resort Development Partners has embarked on a mission to breathe new life into the 27-hole course, with aspirations to welcome golf enthusiasts once again by 2024, under the banner of The Preserve at Beacon Hill.

The blueprint for this transformation includes the consolidation of the 27-hole layout into an 18-hole design. Additionally, future enhancements encompass the introduction of a 9-hole family course, the construction of a modern clubhouse, and the establishment of a golf practice and improvement center.

Frank Denniston, co-founder and managing partner of Resort Development Partners, expressed the team's eagerness to embark on this endeavor, stating, "We're ready to roll up our sleeves and commence immediate efforts to elevate this property into an exceptional golfing destination that resonates with the elegance and distinction of the surrounding community."

The return of golf to Beacon Hill has elicited contentment among its residents. Sid Rudolph, President of the Beacon Hill Community Association, conveyed the community's satisfaction with this development, noting, "The unwavering dedication and support towards reinstating golf have culminated in this opportunity to ultimately fulfill the vision upon which Beacon Hill was established over two decades ago."
